Brief Answer:
No

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.

There is no need to get worried. This blood pressure, though higher than the normal is not that high to cause any foreseeable complications related to high blood pressure. This may be explained by the pains and the anxiety from this.

I will recommend that you get your blood pressure checked after the pains subside. You may want some paracetamol and or ibuprofen for this chest pain.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarification if need be.

Thank you Dr. Ditah for giving me piece of mind. I believed it was that I might have pulled something than something serious like a hear attack or stroke. Both side of my family are know to have strokes so wanted to make sure that wasn't the reason for my pain. Thank you again.

Brief Answer:
Thanks, too!

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for your kind words.

I wish you a speedy recovery. Pain associated with heart attack is severe alongside other symptoms. Stroke often manifest with a loss of function like being unable to move your limb, walk, etc. I am happy you recognize the family history as a risk factor. Best way to further prevent stroke is eating healthy, exercising always, maintain a normal body weight, and adequately treating for any disease condition like high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol problems, etc.

This is not linked to stroke or heart attack. Let me know if there is something more you would like us to talk about now!
