I've tried to answer your questions to the best of my ability...

Is there any aggravating or relieving factors?
I don't think so, the pain appears at random points during the day. I haven't done anythign differently to relieve the pain as it is not that severe and it doesn't affect me that much.

whether it is relieved by heat application?
I haven't tried but it feels like a bloated pain even though sometimes i haven't eaten. I would assume that heat would not relieve the pain.

whether aggravated after taking food?
It some times affects me in the morning when i haven't eaten for 12 hours. Also i haven't noticed any particular foods that trigger it off.

Or any specific food like fatty foods?
Don't think so

Do you have constipation?
No

Do you consume alcohol?. If yes how often?
Sometimes - maybe 10 to 20 units a week. This amount hasn't changed recently however.

Brief Answer:
Gastritis or stomach/duodenal ulcers can give such symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. As hunger pain is present it can be due to presence of ulcers in stomach or duodenum. Gastritis also can give such symptoms.

In such case i would suggest taking proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole ( Nexium ) for 4 to 6 weeks. I also advise mucosal protectors like sucralfate to take half an hour before each meals. Take light meals at short intervals.

If there is no improvement a consultation with a gastroenterologist should be done. He/she might do fibrogastroduodenoscopy and ultrasound examination to rule out other problems and to confirm it.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
