What Causes Increased Blood Pressure While On Oral Contraceptive Pills?

Question: Am 44 yrs old...smoker...300lbs...but also active...on birth control pills for uterine lining thickness....question....blood pressure check in the AM was180/105........rechecked later was 150/88...slight head ache....light headed a little...and I work 3rd shift

The birth control pills I take is Camilla....non estrogen....could this still increase my blood pressure or cause strokes
