Brief Answer:
Lets get more data on the problem and then address Dietary Issues.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic.

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. I will try and give you some basic diet recommendations which would be beneficial in your brothers predicament, but first, I would like to get a bit more information about what is going on with him.

1) How long has he been suffering from a fever? Can you describe when the fever is worst and what is he doing doing so far to address it?

2) Did the headaches start before or after the fevers onset? Can you or He describe the headaches for me? What is being done to manage them now.

3) What is his diet like right now? Can you describe for me what food and drink he has over a typical day? Does he drink coffee etc?

4) Does he have any pre-existing medical issues or is he taking regular medication of any type?

Now as far as overcoming weakness and headaches through diet.

Make sure that your brother is taking a diet high in Vitamin B and Vitamin C. Make sure he is eating enough Green leafy vegetables. He may wish to try a Vitamin Supplement if he doesn't eat appropriately.

Try and make sure he eats small but frequent meals. That will prevent him from being very tired after a heavy meal. Keeping his blood sugars level and regular will help his energy levels as well.

For the headache.. the most basic causes of a headache have to be addressed first. make sure he is getting adequate sleep, has no vision problems like near sightedness that need correction, and try and make sure his caffiene intake is under 150mg a day (1 or two cups of coffee a day).

For temporary relief from these headaches, he may take an OTC medication like Paracetamol or Ibuprofen. Before taking these drugs often though, he should make certain he has no liver or kidney issues. These drugs are safe enough when taken occasionally. Prolonged usage is not recommended.

So see if you or He can answer the questions I have posed. I look forward to your reply,

Vinay
