Brief Answer:
Continue Imol as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hi
It's painful to see our kids in pain. I completely understand your concerns. But don't worry. It's a known side effect of Vaccine. It may take upto 72 hours for fever to subside. I would recommend you to take following measures to make her comfortable:
1. Give her Syp. Maxtra or T minic at 2.5 ml twice daily. This will reduce the inflammation , swelling and calm the child.
2. Keep her limb elevated by pillow while she is sleeping to reduce swelling.
3. Continue Imol thrice daily for next one day and as and when required thereafter.
4. Apply cold damp towel over area if she is compliant.

In case fever doesn't subside after 72 hours of vaccination or there is any further discolouration or swelling over thigh, then do go for a proper pediatrician clinical examination to rule out any post injection abscess formation.

Hopefully this will help.

Take care

Brief Answer:
It will calm her

Detailed Answer:
Don't worry. Just follow the measures I advised. Hopefully it will improve.

But, in case she continues to have high fever spikes, progressive swelling, increase in discolouration or continuous pain even after 1 day of treatment then do visit pediatrician to rule out any cellulitis or post injection abscess. Although they are rare but you need to be aware of them.

I would be happy to answer any further questions.

Take care
