Brief Answer:
Yes,viral fever most probably.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

I am sorry to hear about the 5 years old kid's current health condition.

Also, there is lower back pain which are likely features of a viral fever.

In my opinion you should continue to give tylenol (Acetaminophen tablet/syrup) every 4 hours to take care of the fever.

You can also give the child around 125mg of Panadol kid tablet or syrup ibuprofen. This will reduce the temperature. It will also take care of the lower back pains.

Give the child plenty of fluids to drink orally.

Do tepid sponging with water and a soft towel frequently to keep the temperature at normal.

Since it is likely to be due to viral fever, there is no role of giving antibiotics here.

If the fever and other symptoms do not subside or increase in next 24-48 hours, it is better to take the child to a pediatrician for further examination and treatment..

I wish the child recovers quickly.
