Brief Answer:
Low blood pressure (hypotension).

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

It is clear that your symptoms are caused by low blood pressure.

Conditions that may cause it include high blood pressure meds use, heart problems ( bradychardia, valves disease ), endocrine conditions ( parathyroid disease, low levels of sugar in blood ), dehydration, etc.

It is necessary to get evaluated by your primary care Doctor about these issues.

Finding and treating the cause should improve your symptoms too.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Kind regards.

Actually my BP, especially after passing 80, always checks higher than the normal 120/80 except when the weakness/dizziness occurs. It does not occur on a regular basis -- it does seem to happen at times of minor frustration or aggravation. I do not have shortness of breath at those times but do breath deeply to reverse symptoms which lasts a few to several minutes. The only medication I take is 600MG ibuprofen twice daily for knee osteo relief. So then, yes my symptom is low blood pressure; however, the question is: "what causes BP to suddenly & temporarily drop so low"?

Brief Answer:
Arythmia for example.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

Arythmia for example may cause blood pressure to drop instantly.

If your symptoms are related to body position, orthostatic ( postural ) hypotension also should be considered.

Discuss with your Doctor about these issues and getting evaluated further.

Hope I helped you.

Take care.
