Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry with report if asymptomatic at present

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dr XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Asymptomatic mild increase in ALT values is not of any significance until you have associated other complains or on drugs.
You can repeat it after 1 month but nothing to worry if you have no symptoms.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

could this indicate liver cancer? I am very anxious something serious is wrong, but I don't have any symptoms and am otherwise healthy. Not sure why my liver is acting up.

Brief Answer:
Get liver function test repeated from some other lab and an USG

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Mild elevation have many causes and require detailed workup if risk factors present as discussed previously . Additionally diabetes, thyroid disorder, drugs may also lead to such increase.
You can go ahead with an USG and consult a physician if any abnormality detected.
Repeat testing may be another option from some different lab.
