Brief Answer:
Fungal or bacterial infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic,

The Naval (belly button) can easily become infected by fungus Candida as this area is warm and moist that fungi like. If you have a fungal infection the belly button will look red, redness may extend to the surrounding skin and it may be itchy.

Bacteria may also infect the belly button, often taking advantage of the damage already done by the fungi. This leads to scabbing and a yellowish discharge.

As you have taken bacterium it should have subsided. If it doesn't start improving within a few days, see your doctor for complete evaluation and proper medications.

Thank you.
