Brief Answer:
Dulcolax does not affect duphaston effect

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I understand your concerns about taking dulcolax tablets along with duphaston tablets and their interaction impact it has on periods and pregnancy.

Let me reassure you that there is absolutely no problem in taking these tablets together as they don't reduce each other's efficiency when taken together.

Therefore don't worry about impact as you have taken them together.

Now since your periods are delayed for more than a week, I would like you to get tested for pregnancy. Please do serum beta hCG blood test to confirm pregnancy accurately as it is earliest test to become positive.

If you are pregnant you need to continue duphaston and folic acid tablets.

Let me know the result of serum beta hCG blood test soon so that I can advice you further.

Don't worry about duphaston and dulcolax combination anymore.

Regards
Dr. Soumya

Brief Answer:
Please get serum beta hCG blood test to confirm pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for additional information.

As per your original question you had stopped duphaston on 8th March which means you should have got your periods anytime now due to withdrawal effect ( stopping duphaston).

Hence I suggest take your pregnancy test by means of blood test ( serum beta hCG blood test). It is better to diagnose early if you are pregnant.

Send me the report and I will advice you further.

Regards,
Dr. Soumya
