Brief Answer:
This could be due to fluid in ear.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
All these symptoms could be due to LPRD. that is laryngopharyngeal reflux disease. Here there will be reflux of gastric acid into throat. This could be the reason for your constant throat clearing and getting up in middle of your sleep with drooling saliva. This gastric reflux could also cause collection of fluid in the ear. This could be the reason for your ear symptoms.

Nothing to worry. You will be fine.

I recommend the following.
1) Avoid taking coffee or tea in empty stomach.
2) Avoid spicy and junk foods.
3) Never skip your diet. Keep regular diet habits.
4) Have your dinner at least 2 hours before bedtime. Never lie down as soon as you take your meals.
5) Proton pump inhibitor like tablet rabeprazole for treating your gastric reflux.
6) Decongestant tablet levocetrizine with phenylephrine at night after food. To improve ear drainage.
7) An excercise: Pinch your nose with index and thumb, close your mouth and blow air into mouth keeping the nose and mouth close. When you hear a pop up sound in the ears release the nose and open mouth. Repeat this 5 to 6 times a day for 7 days.
This will help in draining the fluid in ear and improve your ear symptoms.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions, I am happy to help you.

Wish you a speedy recovery and good health.

Take care.
