Brief Answer:
Diverticulitis can be the reason.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Diverticulitis can cause the pain in this location. Especially if you are over the age of 50.
Inguinal hernia, left kidney infection, ovaries cyst (if you are female) can also give the pain in this location.
Do you have any other symptoms like frequent urinating, blood in stool, fever, nausea, vomiting?

Hope this helps.
Regards.
