Brief Answer:
All questions addressed ma'am

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I think the most basic rule that needs to be explained to a patient with any infection of the genitalia or reproductive system has not been explained to you or your boyfriend.

With any infection of the reproductive system and/or genitalia, you should not have sexual contact in any forms until 2 weeks after the last dosage of the medications prescribed to treat it. So what I need you and your boyfriend to do for me is: stop sexual contact (including masturbation) until the last dosage of the medications prescribed. Once both of you have taken the last dosage of the prescribed medications, I want you to write to me and I shall give you further instructions on when to have sexual contact, but please do not indulge in any form of sexual contact until I allow you to do so ma'am.

Yes, you can use the monistat suppository for the time being. Yes, you may not be able to purchase diflucan without a prescription but you can try.

Canestan cream would have been most suitable to apply inside your vaginal canal.

I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
Yes, but take a 7 day course and write to me again on the last day

Detailed Answer:
Hi ma'am.

Yes, but I would recommend using the canestan for about 7 days, which is why I want you to write back to me after 7 days so I can decide whether the course was sufficient or not; if it is then I shall advise further. Okay? :)

Best wishes.

Hi i would like to ask. I am already 1month and 1week delay now. I still dont have my menstruation. Normally i am regular. Last april i take dianne pills just to prevent pregnancy. And when my bf find out about it i stop on May. Because he said he cant make me pregnant anyway bcz he is vasectomy 18years ago. So i just on pills for 1month. And i go in obgyne and test for pregnancy test. It was negative. But before that i do a home pregnancy test. For 4times. The other one have a slight line. I have already 1son. Hes running 3years old. I remember before when i am pregnant. My pregnancy test is slight line.my question is. If im not pregnant. Why i am delay and feeling tired and irritated.and is it posible the vasectomy fails even its 18years ago it was done. I was also get a progesterone injection. Bcz i want to have my menstruation desperately

Brief Answer:
Very good question, I am happy you are trying to understand more

Detailed Answer:
Hi ma'am.

I am happy that you are asking me more questions and trying to understand everything instead of leaving them a blur.

You need to know that there are numerous reasons that can cause a delay in your period and irregularly in your menstrual cycle, let me list some of the most common ones out for you:

+Infections (E.g. urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted infections, fungal/yeast infections, etc.)
+High levels of stress
+Taking medications (any medications)
+Birth control pills
+Hormonal pills (e.g. dianne)
+Sudden weight gain or sudden weight loss
+Excessive amount of exercise (which causes the testosterone levels in women to rise, thus resulting in either a delay or irregularity
+Sexual intercourse
+Systemic medical conditions (e.g. systemic lupus)
+Chronic conditions (e.g. diabetes, hypertension, etc.)
+Conditions related to the reproductive system (e.g. endometriosis, ovarian cysts, polycystic ovarian syndrome, etc.)
and many more.

As you can see from the above listed causes, you have many possible causes for the delay. You took dianne in the past, you currently have a yeast infection, etc. So instead of taking any medications to prevent pregnancy now, first use a home pregnancy test again or visit your doctor for an ultrasound examination to confirm pregnancy and only then take any medications.

We should also consider the fact that you are having sexual relations with only one partner, and that partner is sterile (had a vasectomy), so there is almost a zero risk for conception/pregnancy. In this case, the delay is most probably only because of the infection that you have right now ma'am.

Please feel free to write to me anytime and about anything, I will help you as a friend and a doctor so you can confide in me anytime.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
My sincere apologis for not being able to help you with that

Detailed Answer:
Hi ma'am.

Unfortunately as policy, we are not allowed to give prescriptions through this site, because of which I could be banned from the site as well. And moreover, my prescription would not be valid at the pharmacy in your side of the world.

I am really sorry about that ma'am. :(

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
I do not think so ma'am

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

As you must know, there are numerous methods advocated for family planning, but vasectomy and tubectomy are the only two procedures that are a 100% effective in preventing conception/pregnancy.

Out of these two techniques, tubectomy has shown a very small percentage of failure, and can also be reversed. Whereas, vasectomy has a 0% failure rate and is not reversible.

So in my opinion, there is no way the vasectomy can fail ma'am; there is nothing to worry about.

Best wishes.
