Question: I have a blood blister where my tooth was pulled it has been over a month and I have done everything the dentist told me to do but it is still there is shrinks up at night and if I eat on the other side of my mouth it will swell up it does not hurt but it is scaring me because it has not gone away

I have gone through your query and understand your concern . As far as blood blister near extraction site is concerned it can be due to infection in the extraction socket or other possibility is left out root piece in extraction socket leading to flaring up infection .
For this I will suggest you to consult oral surgeon for clinical examination and investigation Intra oral periapical radiograph to rule out the cause of blister formation so that treatment plan accordingly . You can also send me scanned copy of xray so that i can evaluate it and advise you to proceed towards the treatment .
Meantime do warm saline rinses 2 to 3 times a day . Maintain good oral hygiene .
