Brief Answer:
Sometimes it is physiological

Detailed Answer:
I have read your query
Since you are mentioning that you are never late on menstrual period , must ask you if are you sexually active . In that case, you must first get a urinary pregnancy test done to rule out pregnancy .

In case that is negative, other causes are that you might be having it out of stress . I will advice that you wait for this month also , since it is almost 6 weeks .

You can take medroxyprogesrerone acetate and wait for the period to come and also under the medical supervision.

One more reason is that the menopausal age varies from 45-55 years . Sine you are already nearing your menopause , it is natural in this age either to have long periods of amenorrhea or polymennorhea.

You must under medical supervision get scan of the entire lower abdomen and a pap smear done to rule out abnormality of the cell proliferation in this region .

I hope you are satisfied . If you still have any query I am here to answer . Take care

Brief Answer:
Reports are suggestive of anemia

Detailed answer:
Hi there,

I was able to view the reports. You are suffering from iron deficiency anemia. This may or may not be the reason for period delay. I suggest that you include in your diet fruits such as pomegranate , apple , pear. These are rich in iron. Other substances such as spinach , red meat , brinjal (egg plant) and jaggery are also rich in iron. In addition, I will start you on iron tablets.

You can discuss about iron supplements when you visit your doctor for medroxyprogesterone tablets.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Tell the Mri is of which region

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear thanks for the follow up . It is good to hear that you had your periods . But you must specify the MRI is is of which region . In any case is is of brain, I suggest that the radiologist is the best person you can refer too.
