Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry - it's normal - it will disappear in few weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hi.... Nothing to worry. It is a normal reaction at the vaccination site. It's just a local induration which will settle in a few weeks time.

No need to treat it, nor does it require any medications. or intervention.

Brief Answer:
Sorry...I need current weight for calculating centile

Detailed Answer:
Hi...Sorry...I need her current weight for calculating the centile of her weight in comparison to her date of birth.

In our last interaction my second question was supposed to be - what is her exact weight now?

But by mistake I asked the same question - about exact date of birth. I apologize for that.

I request you to get back to me with current weight of the baby.

Brief Answer:
She's exactly at 5th centile and gained 25g per day

Detailed Answer:
Hi....thank you for the information.

Your baby's weight is at 5th centile which is appropriate.

Your baby is gaining 25 grams per day which seems to be appropriate.

To explain in detail - any baby will lose 10% of bodyweight and gain it back by 14th day. If we calculate thus, until 12th November she had gained 2100 Grams in 83 days which seems to be appropriate according to XXXXXXX standards.

Please do continue exclusive breast feeding till 6 months of age.

A baby's development is more important than her looking chubby. So please do not worry. Your baby is doing excellently well.

Thanks a lot doctor for clearing my doubt. Yes definitely even I would prefer correct development and a healthy baby. My daughter likes to sit for somtime with support. Can I encourage the same or should I wait til she gets 6months?Her neck support has almost come. Should I still hold her neck while carrying?

Please hold the neck till she can hold it completely by herself

Detailed Answer:
Hi...coming to your queries directly.
