Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
See, heart attack has its classical signs which if seen , one should attend emergency of hospital immediately.
A person develops crushing retrosternal chest pain, which might also radiate to left hand, jaw, neck. It is usually associated with sweating , palpitations, fear of impending death.
If this happens, one should be taken to hospital.
At hospital after checking vitals, foremost Investigation that is done is ECG (Electrocardiogram).
Then Echo cardiography and cardiac enzymes are sent.
If there is any evidence , treatment is given that ranges from medicines to Angioplasty.
