What Are The Chances Of HIV After Protected Intercourse?
Question: i had sex with a lady and its a protected sex only .later i know she IS A PROSTITUTE and i consulted doctor within 3 hours and he gave me taxim500 and mahacef(cefixine) and azinex 500(azithromycin) ..and my doctor said after 20 days only u can take hiv test and that too not required that i had a safe sex..so i wont get hiv like that doctor said..now 6th day am having some symptoms like sore throat and very small two red dots in my tongue....am very much worried that i may have hiv..please tell me wat to do..

The chances of transmission by inter course is 1/200 to 1/2000 even if with positive partner.here it is protected inter course so you need not worry of HIV .
The symptoms are due to any simple respiratory infection due to respiratory contact with this partner or anybody else . so do not worry.
Antibiotics or stress may induce the tongue rashes. You can take multivitamin tablets.
Relax and allay fears of HIV.
You can get HIV RNA PCR test after 14 days if you are still anxious.
You can get back for any clarification

thank u sir..if this symptoms continues what i will do..are this symptoms are early stage of hiv (acute retroviral syndrome” (ARS) or “primary HIV infection) or can i consult a doctor today or i can take hiv rna pcr test today...if i have hiv + is that curable in early stage??am not married ...can i marry??...if i have hiv+ i can marry ??am so confused..help me

sir nw am having pain in my armpits too is that is that lymph nodes..muscle pain too..and having some little burning sensation in my penis too..not able to sleep also is am having the early stage hiv symptoms..if these symptoms is increases day by day wat can i do..bcoz am staying alone in a remote place..need ur suggestion doctor..wat i do nw for treatment??

Do not over wash your penis.use warm water to clean the area twice daily.if need be use mild soaps or cleansers like cetaphil to clean area.
drink plenty of water.
for arm pits just relax take some analgesics like brufen after food if severe pain.it may be spasms or anxiety.
there is no possibility of HIV and getting the symptoms of HIV.
so forget the episode do some yoga, meditations, physical exercises and get involved in activities which you like so that you forget the episode.
make friends in your work place or area to get away from fear of being alone.
Keep the doctors/ hospital contact numbers and get it touch with them in case of emergency or requirement.
