Brief Answer:
The doses of drug should be increased for control of symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hello Welcome to HCM

You had symptoms of depression like suicidal intentions, depressive mood, loneliness, confusion, lack of interest in day to day routine, hopelessness (lack of vision of future), over emotional and irrational attitude etc. I am not sure why you have written Schizophrenia? Whether you have suffered any symptoms of Schizophrenia?

Currently you are on Nexito (Escitalopram) which is an antidepressant drug and Encorate is Sodium Valproate which is a mood stabiliser drug. Both drugs are safe drugs and are free of serious side effects. The doses you are taking are also low doses and would not cause any harm to your health. So if you are not having any specific side effect then there is no need to worry. At these doses these are safe drugs.

If your symptoms of depression are persisting then as per my opinion there is need to increase the dose of Escitalopram to 10 mg per day. At this dose the drug would control the depressive symptoms and you will feel better and motivated. Discuss with your doctor for prescription of the drug. Try to do yoga or exercise daily as this would result in release of endorphins which will help to boost mood.

Increase the diet containing proteins and complex carbs and low in fat. Take vitamin B12 supplements and Omega 3 Fatty acids supplements which are available with common stores. These supplements will help to boost the mood and will supplement the effects of drugs.

Have good sleep for at least 7 hours a day and try to build new interests in life and you will feel better.

Thanks. Hope this helps you, if you have more doubts please ask again.
