Brief Answer:
Please ask your doctor for syrup bromhexine

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

I had gone through your question and I can understand your concern

wet cough of 10 duration warrants to be evaluated through clinical examination and a battery of tests like sputum for microscopy and culture and blood tests such as CBC ESR and an X ray chest

this could be due to any of following
allergic reaction
Lung infection
Tuberculosis (TB)

you may require a course of antibiotics once the diagnosis confirmed by examination and investigationso

meanwhile you can do
warm saline gargles
steam inhalation
syrup bromhexine after consulting your doctor

I hope you will find my response informative and helpful please do not hesitate to write back to us for further clarification I will gladly answer you

wishing you good health
Regards
Dr BR Hudda
