Brief Answer:
Pityriasis rosacea

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to see that your son has been plagued with skin issues. From your pictures it looks like you son has a condition called pityriasis rosacea. This is a benign skin condition of unknown cause possibly viral. It can cause dry itchy skin and lasts about 1-2 weeks. There is no treatment other than symptom relief with calamine lotion or oat meal baths for the itching. You can try some topical hydrocortisone to small areas that itch too if needed but we do not recommend using much.

The lesions in your sons axilla could be molluscum contagiosum. It is also a viral illness. The best treatment it scrapping them off or doing nothing. These are usually self limiting and will heal with time also

In summary
1. pityriasis rosacea
2. Molluscum contagiosum
3. Self limiting diseases, will heal on their own
4. Symptom treatment with calamine or oat meal baths for rosacea
5. Scrapping lesions off for molluscum

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
