Question: Yes Please! Male 45 years old, over weight, has been throwing up and fever all last week, said he feels better and wants to work but he has a blister type rash on his front from neck down, not a solid rash. He said he was throwing up, fever and has a blister type rash. I dont feel right with him being here with that rash. I suggested he go to urgent care but he refuses and says he feels better. Any suggestions?

Brief Answer:
He has to visit a doctor.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Rash and vomiting along with fever are characteristic symptoms of bacterial infection. As it last for a week now and does not sound like its getting better, he should definitely consult hist doctor. Without antibiotics treatment this may lead to serious complications and be life threatening. So please force him to visit urgent care.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
