Question: On Friday, I started experiencing some ringing in my right ear. It has gotten worse and is now very distracting. I am thinking it could be Tinnitis. Had this experience before in January. Is there anything I can do for some relief?

Brief Answer:
Ear and nose needs to be examined...

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query

Tinnitus or ringing in the ears could be due to various reasons. To name a few common causes:
1. Ear wax
2. Common cold or flu, causing the blockage of the Eustachian tube.
3. Otitis media ( middle ear infection)
4. Temporomandibular joint problems

I would suggest you to consult your doctor for a complete evaluation of the ears and nose.

Management depends upon the cause of the tinnitus. Without examining its very difficult to suggest you the remedies.

Hope I have answered your query; I'll be available for the follow up queries.
