Brief Answer:
This could be mononucleosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.

I had gone through your question. This could be mononucleosis. The presentation of severe throat pain and lymph nodes in neck and arm pit are supportive factors to say it is mononucleosis. I recommend the following.
1) Plenty of water and fruit juices to prevent dehydration.
2) Salt water gargling to relieve sore throat. Add one pinch of salt in one glass of warm water.
3) Analgesics and antiinflammatory drugs to relieve pain and inflammation. Like paracetamol with aceclofinac will be good option for you to relieve pain.
4) A course of antibiotics after consulting with doctor since mononucleosis is usually associated with bacterial infection.

You will be fine. Nothing to worry

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions its my pleasure to help you.
Wish you a speedy recovery. Take care. Get well soon.
