Question: swollen neck glands reoccurring over five year lasting any where from 1 to 3 weeks about marble size near ear and painful not accompied with fever, sore throat or injury and do not smoke no tooth aches or mouth problems

As per your description, it looks like enlarged lymph nodes. Most common cause of the enlargement is bacterial infection.
Any swelling in the neck should undergo FNAC (Fine needle aspiration cytology ).If it is inconclusive, I prefer to remove a prominent node and send for histopathological examination (Biopsy ).
Please consult a General surgeon, get examined clinically and proceed accordingly.
