Suggest Treatment For Soreness In Tongue

default
Posted on Thu, 27 Nov 2014
Question: I have suffered from a sore tongue for almost two years now. Most of the time it is sore on the tip, sometimes along the side and sometime all over the top. Never all at once thankfully. It does not hurt at all when I am eating or drinking something, especially something fizzy like beer, or carbonated pop. Then faithfully about a half an hour after eating or drinking something it starts to feel sore again. Most mornings it feels fine but mid-morning it starts to feel sore. I am so tired of worrying about it and it being such a big part of my life. Could you please give me any solutions to having some relief.

Brief Answer:
Kindly tell few important points.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for soreness o tongue.

There are multiple causes of sore tongue but most often is due to vitamin deficiency and iron deficiency. In vitamins deficiency it is most commonly the B complexes which causes the problem.

I humbly request you to kindly let me know if you have gone for your vitamin B 12 level and Hemoglobin level along with serum ferritin level in last 2 years.

Tell me about your diet and do you take green leafy vegetables along with fruits daily.

Hope to hear soon from your side.
