Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Fever
Question: I need answers for my problem I am having. I have a sore but very loose throat like when I eat or drink something it goes done much faster as if something is not working in my throat. the inside of my mouth has white on top of mouth and on back of toung, I also noticed my uvula is more different looking then usual it's more down and not doing much even when I gulp. I can feel my lungs breathing in and out, I feel pain all over my body and I've been dealing with a bad fever. I just need to know if I need to go to the emergency room for this right away or not? thank you for your time.

You may be suffering from a viral illness in which people have symtoms like sore throat headache muscle aches etc but the type of virus is not known the treatment is entirely symtomatic, other possibility can be mononucleosis caused by epstien bar virus which can result into extreme fatigue, sore throat, fever, rash, loss of appetite, muscle aches treatment is symptomatic.
You can be suffering from viral phyringitis which is sore throat caused by virus or it may be throat infection due to strep bacteria symptoms include red throat with white patches trouble swallowing and fever. Main stay of treatment is antibacterials.
White patches apart from strep infection can be due to canker sores which are painful white ulcers can be due to trauma impaired immune system stress or vitamin deficiencies etc
Oral candidiasis is one of the reasons for it its common with immune diso
rders. It can be leukoplakia which results from chronic irritation of mucous membranes like tobacco use smoking etc.
Throat examination may be necessary to exclude these diagnosis and assosiated symtoms play significant role.
