Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I still need more information.
I saw the photos.
Those look like flesh as you mentioned.
What did she eat before she vomited?
Did you show this to her doctor and what is his opinion?
What medications is she on now?

For the day, she ate a blueberry muffin, raspberry yogurt, and white milk for breakfast. For lunch, she atr at school, a shredded chicken quesadilla, salad, fruit cup, an apple, and water. After school she just grabbed a chocolate poptart and we went to church at 7pm and she had a chocolate cupcake and juice! After church, we grabbed Zaxby's to go and she only ate a couple of fries and one chicken tender. Her stomach had begin hurting early yesterday and she still tried to go on about her day! Around 8:45pm, she was having severe stomach pain and diarrhea. Once it eased up a little, she went to bed and awoke me at 2am. She was in the bathroom with severe stomach pain and diarrhea again and said she felt the need to vomit. I got her a pan, and she did, in fact, vomit! (This is only the second time she has vomited, with the first time being nearly 4weeks ago...only once then as well!). She felt better, still left with mild stomach pain, but was going to try to go back to sleep! I proceded to the bathroom to empty the pan and clean up and saw the fleshy looking pieces, and became very alarmed! The hospital questioned if she has Pica, which she does not! They questioned if she had been chewing on something or swollowed somthing, but the answer was no! I am confident that could not be a factor. The nurses and doctor all agreed it didn't look like food! No one could provide an explination or could do any type of test on it! I was hoping for pathology or something, as i feel we could obtain some great information. Do you know anyway that this could be done? I still have it, but know that it won't remain intact forever! She is not on any medications curently. The last medications she finished were Keflex and Bactrim, prescribed after lancing a possible abscess which contained a hardened white core at the bottom of her left leg! She finished this medication on July 2nd, 2015! I dont feel that the photos or specimens are getting the attention that they may deserve! Is it possible to vomit up portions of bodily tissue? It seems too large and thick to be stomach lining! It seems like they each have a smaller stem like piece attached, as well! Could theese possibly be detached tumors or polyps? I can not find any related storys with much information. Any help or sugestions are so appreciated! Her doctor does want to try an antacid medication for 2-4 weeks to see if it makes a difference and to rule that out! She doesn't seem to have any acid reflux issues, nor does she/hs she hd issues with constipation! Thank you!

Brief Answer:
Not possible

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the additional information.
It is not possible to vomit up portions of bodily tissues.
It is unlikely to be portions of detached tumor or polyps.
I feel she has vomited out something she had eaten/swallowed.

As far as her symptoms are concerned, they are probably due to a stomach bug.
In addition to the antacids she is taking, probiotics may also be given for faster recovery.

If you are still apprehensive, an upper GI endoscopy may be done to look into the stomach which will clearly show there are no lesions inside to get detached and get vomited out.

I hope that answers your question.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards,
Dr.R,K

I seperated it from the vomit and placed it into a glass jar. When held up to the light, it appears that you can see blood vessles! It's begining to loose a lot of it's pinkness now, as it has been a few days! The texture is similar to the fatty pad of the thumb! One of the pieces that appear sac like, had a tear in it and seemed "deflated", leaving me to wonder if it had once been fluid filled! Do you still really believe that theese could be pieces of food? Nothing in her diet correlates with this. But, more than anything, the texture and appearance is extremely concerning. I know that this is unusual, but there must be an answer!

Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be detached bodily tissue

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I still believe they are not detached bodily tissues.
In that case , the vomitus would contain blood /altered blood. But the picture you posted did not show any trace of blood. The vomitus not blood stained at all.
The stool would also be black in that case which did not happen..
Since you look very apprehensive, an upper GI endoscopy may be done to confirm they are not detached bodily tissues.

Dr.R.K.
