Brief Answer:
Seems to be a viral infection. It is self limiting and needs proper care!

Warm Welcomes. I appreciate your trust in HCM and assure you are on best portal on the globe for expert online medical services.
I have thoroughly reviewed health query you raised, and well realize all of those concerns. Being your physician, I will take care all of them today and will extend my expertise to solve the problems.

This kind of viral illnesses are very quick in onset and almost always involve more than one bodily systems as in your daughter's case skin, digestive system and upper respiratory tract infections. Another hallmark of the disease is its involvement of more than one person at the scene as in this case other people were also involved. If this was not spread to others then we can say this is a disease limited to your daughter and could have thought some reasons specifically related to her health. Unfortunately we can't name the virus until we receive the blood work done.

This is self limiting disease and nothing more than a conservative treatment options are needed like pain medications (over the counter available), taking proper rest, proper hydration with lots of fluids. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and remain in shady areas. It will take 7-10days to go away completely. If she has no relief from burning extremities she should apply PROCORT TOPICAL OINTMENT to the areas and take FEXOFENADINE tablet by mouth. It will be a good relief for her.

Hope I addressed all the concerns you have. Let me know if you have further questions. I will be more than happy to clear any doubts. Please give your 'rating' (if agreed, Five Stars) to help me assist patients in a better way; and, please don't forget to click on 'Close The Discussion'.
