Brief Answer:
Depsonil can be taken up to 300mg,for other medicines see below

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for follow up.

Depending upon severity of depression, tolerance capacity of the patient to the drug, and concurrent medicines going on; dose of depsonil is adjusted.
Maximum recommended dose is 300 mg.Take dose as advised by doctor.

If you feel improvement after optimum dose of depsonil for 3-4 weeks, there is no need to add to any other medicines . If no improvement with imipramine , desvenlafexine(D-veniz) or Bupropion(Bupron) can be added.

In your medicines, paroxetine and depsonil for depression and ciplar and toficalm for anxiety. Arpizol in 2.5 mg I don't think is useful. It can be stopped or dose should be increased up to 10 mg for augmentation.Best judge is your treating doctor.

Changing of medicines required detail history of symptoms, detail psychosocial and family history, drug tolerance capacity and response to past medicines. These can be done by treating doctor with personal consultation.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be glad to help further.

regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.

Brief Answer:
Do not change dose without consulting your doctor,no need to add medicine

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing back.

It is good that your depression have responded well to depsonil. Please do not change dose of any drug without consulting your doctor. If some serious side effect occurs by chance , you can get immediate help of your doctor if he is aware about the current medicines.

Desponil 300 mg is almost maximum dose for you. You can take 75 in morning, 75 in afternoon and 150 mg at night before going to bed.If you are satisfied with it, keep it continue. After satisfactory, persistent, stable improvement for 3 months , dose of depsonil should be decreased as per instruction of your treating doctor. It can be stopped completely if stopped gradually with medical supervision. Stopping of medicines also depend on severity and duration of problem.

Currently you are better with all medicines going on, so no need to add any medicine right now.

Hope I have answered your query,
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
