Suggest Treatment For Recurring Rashes On Thighs
Question: Hello Doctor, I have been frequent getting rashes on my thigh (between the legs) in the past two months. The rash goes off as soon as I use CLOCIP - B, but re-occurs after a few days. Please advise.

Hi,
You seem to have jock itch which is a fungal infection. Fungus grows on damp areas and especially on human skin which is not well aerated. You should apply powder twice a day so that the area is dry. CLOCIP is a good drug but I do not prefer CLOCIP-B which has mild steroid as well.
Also test for fasting blood sugars if you are overweight or have a positive family history of diabetes. Diabetes predisposes to such skin infections.
If possible please upload a photo of the lesions so that I am better able to help you. An examination by a dermatologist is needed for an accurate diagnosis.
