Brief Answer:
It seems to be recurrent Nasal Polyposis !!!

Detailed Answer:
Warm welcomes to HCM-the best online avaliable health portal assisting countless patients from all over the globe.

I appreciate your trust in our services. I have carefully reviewed your health concerns and can well establish the sensitivity of the issues.

It seems to be recurrent Polyposis that is the nasal polyps again. The bad thing about nasal polyps is that it can be reformed even after the surgery. That's why they sometimes are difficult to cure.

Triggers may be allergic or inflammatory reactions to the sinus mucosa. Many of my patients come with a burst of respiratory and sinus infection like Bronchitis, pneumonia or a burst of asthma that may end up eventually in polyps formation.

In some patients there is seen a triad of Polyps, Asthma, Aspirin allergy...They also end up in polyps formation.

Use of a forceful episode of antibiotics; Oral corticosteroids; Inhaled corticosteroids and nasal sprays helps in some but not all the patients.

Much of the times, addition of Montelukast is needed and I have seen good results in my patients with recurrent polyps. Your ENT Physician may help you for a prescription if needed.

If you have not been assessed and treated for allergens, it may be prudent and the best time to get it done now. Ask your Physician for that. If there is likely some allergen that is triggering the irritation of sinus mucosa, it may be dealt with and strict allergen avoidance is then the key to success.

Many a times we need to start afresh with repeat polyp surgery, assessing for the allergens if any and addition of montelukast post operatively, to get optimum benefits. To kill the respiratory infections in a timely way is key to avoid recurrence.

I will also suggest you to go for a Sleep Apnea Specialist consultation as this is mandatory in this case to work alongwith ENT Specialists.

Some patients get benefits from "Aspirin Desensitization". There are many centres across US and Canada for this type of treatment strategy. One of the best one is here in California US (Scripps Institute).
