Suggest Treatment For Persistent Sore Throat
Question: I had a soar throat and fever since five days.After undergoing blood test Doctor prescribed antibiotics and pain reliever. Temperature became normal but the throat pain persists. My WBC was 11600. What shall I do?

Present throat pain is due to residual inflammation and shall go away soon.
Do warm saline gargles twice a day and avoid cold drinks along with the course of your antibiotics.
