Suggest Treatment For Persistent Back Pain

default
Posted on Fri, 5 May 2017
Question: Hi, I've been having some persistent pain in the back of my body for several days now. I would say that I just slept in a weird position, but that usually doesn't take but a day to get over. I've been taking pain killer (different types to see if any work better than others) and I got a massage yesterday, but neither have seemed to help much. The pain radiates throughout my skull and sometimes so so bad it makes my eyes water. Thoughts?

Brief Answer:
Continue treatment for another few days.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HealthcareMagic.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Since few days passed, it is necessary to wait another few days and to continue treatment with painkillers, rest, warm procedures on back and neck and physical therapy, before to consider other steps in getting diagnosed and treated further.

Yes, you can use Tylenol and Advil simultaneously.

If symptoms persist after few days. you should get evaluated by your primary care Doctor about conditions such degenerative discs disease, herniated disc disease, occipital neuralgia.

Hope you found the answer helpful. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards.
