Brief Answer:
see primary care physician

Detailed Answer:
Some surgeons are not comfortable prescribing pain medication for more than a week or two after a surgery. You can try ice packs, ibuprofen or naproxen combined with acetaminophen, but if this is not working and your surgeon will no longer prescribe narcotics for you, the you may need to see your primary care physician. Sometimes the primary care physician knows you better than the surgeon and will be more comfortable prescribing narcotics for a longer period. I hope you are feeling better soon.
