Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern.

Depending on your anemia, it would take a minimum of 2-3 weeks for response and improvement symptomatically
Additionally to eldervit , eggs and dairy products can also be used to improve B12 levels.
Check with reticulocyte count after 15 days of treatment to identify improvement.

I would advise the following investigations in consult with your doctor to rule out any other systemic cause in addition to the anemia.
CBC with ESR LFTS, RFTS, ELECTROLYTES, HBA1C , FBS, Stool R/E and stool for occult blood, Urine R/E

Injection neuropathy at site of injection is also a cause and if swelling is evident on physical exam , steroids can be started in consult with your doctor.

I saw the pain meds that you are using which are not alleviating your symptoms.
I would advise Gabapentin 600 mg tds and Diclofenac sodium 100 mg sr bd with PPI cover ( esomeprazole ) for two weeks to see for improvement.
