Brief Answer:
Cause of dizziness/palpitation

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. The sudden spontaneous, uncontrolled eye rolling, vertigo sensation could be "Dizziness". It can be due to

: Brain - Cerebellar mass, infection, injury or sudden decrease in brain blood supply. As your MRI brain and EEG are normal, it means brain is most probably spared.

: Ear - Ear has two function - hearing and balance. Balance part is controlled by Vestibular system of ear. Its damage due to infection/mass/drug intake can cause
dizziness, vertigo and imbalance. The good part is - its symptoms disappear spontaneously. Body has the ability to control it.

To know about it, you must consult " ENT doctor" or "Neurologist". He will examine your vestibular system by
: Dynamic visual acuity
: Spino-occular reflex
: Hallpike manœuvre
: Electronystagmography
: HRCT of temporal bone
: Romberg's test

: Other causes are eye problem like
decreased visual acuity
dehydration and physical exertion
low blood pressure and poor vasomotor tone
anaemia
anxiety and panic disorder

These last mentioned causes should be ruled out only after confirmation of normal vestibular and cerebellar system. You should consult general physician for it. He will check your BP, pulse, hydration, vision, blood sugar and haemoglobin. If everything comes normal, please consult psychiatrist to rule out "Anxiety-panic disorder".

Anxiety can present like this along with palpitation, nausea, uneasiness etc. But precipitating factors are required for it like
: Mental stress
: Fear

Hope it will help you. If still in doubt, do let me know.
Thanks. Take care

why do I get tremors when I get up to do things when I sit down my hands shake
doctor
Answered by Dr. Ishu Bishnoi (2 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Tremors cause

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX welcome back.

The tremors in you can be due to

: Anxiety - It is the cause if you feel stressed while doing something. Some patients take tension of every thing and they develop tremors due to anxiety. In such tremors, fine tremors are there. Tremors will be absent if no one is near and no mental stress.

: Damage of cerebellar or vestibular system can cause intentional tremors. It is tremors arising only while performing. It can be ruled out only after ruling out vestibular system by above methods or by MRI XXXXXXX

: Essential tremors - Some people normally have tremors. It is present without any reason. It is also fine tremors. It is present even in rest and can increase during work.

Hope you will be able to match your features and get the conclusion. If still in doubt, do let me know. Tremors will subside after confirming diagnosis and treating it. After ruling out above mentioned cause, some conclusion can be made.
Thanks. Take care.

Brief Answer:
Abnormal sensation cause in case of normal EEG/MRI brain

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX welcome back.

This abnormal sensation can be "Lhermite sign". In case of normal MRI brain, It can be due to

: vitamin B12 deficiency
: Cervical myelopathy (both compressive and non compressive)
: Multivitamin deficiency like folic acid, vitamin E, pyridoxine

Sometimes abnormal tingling and other sensations can occur due to
: Anxiety
: Vasovagal syncope like sudden shock in stress condition
: Heart disease - angina can also present like it along with chest pain, palpitation

If palpitation is also occurring with it and all investigations are normal, it is most likely "anxiety-panic disorder". You can rule it out by consulting "Psychiatrist".

Or you can send me all your reports and I will help you in reaching unto some conclusion.

Thanks. Take care

Answered by Dr. Ishu Bishnoi (23 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Thyroid function test time is morning hour

Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome back.

Thyroid function test"blood sample" is usually taken in morning in fasting state. It is done in morning because TSH level rises after food. SO to know correct value of it, you have to give your sample in morning, before breakfast.

Hope you got my point. If still in doubt, do let me know.
