Question: I am a woman experiencing male pattern baldness from what I believe to be DHT from the testosterone pellets that I have been using. Looking for something other than Propecia or Rogaine.

Brief Answer:
Solutions with Biochanin-A & Acetyl tetrapeptide-3

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for male pattern baldness.

After reading your query and analyzing it with diligence I can make out that your baldness problem is definitely due to testosterone pellets.

The Dihydrotestosterone ( DHT) has a definite impact on the frontal and bitemporal hairs. It is due to the 5α-reductase receptors because of which the hair gets miniaturized (thinned and getting smaller) and is the main cause of male pattern baldness.

I would like to know for what reason you are taking testosterone pellets.

In your situation if you do not want to use Propecia or Rogaine then there are certain more safer better and latest compounds are available to improve the hair growth.

In my patients with your kind of problem I prefer to use following:

- In oral therapy I prefer to use compounds like Gamma Linolenic Acid. It Inhibits both type-1 & type- isoforms of 5α-reductase even at very low concentration

- In topical therapy solutions containing Biochanin-A & Acetyl tetrapeptide - 3 can be used. These inhibits 5 α reductase by which prevents miniaturization of hair follicle, stimulate ECM by which improves hair anchoring, reduces inflammation and therefore improves hair growth.

You can ask your doctor to start above therapy which is not only safer but also quite effective as compared to Propecia or Rogaine combination.

I also suggest you to take a good protein and vitamin diet in form of fruits, green vegetables and sprouts to improve the hair growth.

I hope these information's will help you. If you have further queries I will be happy to help.

"Wish you good health and early recovery from the problem"
