Brief Answer:
What liver disease do you have?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these diseases that you have mentioned. I understand how difficult it can be and the need to provide appropriate treatment. I will like to know the name of the liver disease as this is very important to suggest a treatment for. There are several different possible liver diseases and the exact one that you have is necessary to make the difference in terms of treatment options.
To address your disease conditions, I suggest the following:

1. High blood pressure needs to be managed with antihypertensives. If you are not currently on any, talk to your doctor about this.
2. Statins are the best medications for high cholesterol and glycerides. Your doctor should be angle to prescribe these.
3. Healthy diet, regular exercise, increased vegetables, fruits, fiber and regular exercise of at least 45mins on most days of the week would help you maintain a good health as well as very important in reducing your blood pressure and the high cholesterol and glycerides. .Please, avoid fast foods and very fatty meals. If your weight is more than desired, you should plan on reducing it.

4. For the itches and sleep, please use benadryl and report your progress to me.

5. Is it possible that you upload your medical report for a second opinion and more insight from me?

I hope these help. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Brief Answer:
See below!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this detailed follow up.

1. The drugs caused this increase in the numbers of your liver tests. Lipitor is known for this. Ask your doctor about this because if the numbers continue rising, we may have to discontinue the drugs at this time. This is even more important because you have fatty liver disease.

2. Fatty liver disease is common in persons with excess weight and persons who drink excess alcohol. If you have any of these issues, please try addressing them. Also, avoid eating fatty meals, excess often, increase vegetables and fruits intake. Finally, avoid any medications which are not recommended by your doctor. Weight loss and no alcohol often help resolve fatty liver disease.

3. You were treated for H. Pylori. This is enough for the drugs and duration and I will not want to follow up with any more demanding drugs at this time.

I hope this helps. Let me know if it works for you or there is something more you want us to talk about. Best wishes.

Ok am glad and satisfied with the explanation but at the moment I still have body itching thought its reducing and upper right abdominal pain and sometimes mild back pain also right side. Then right hand weakness with a kind of a shocking like electric shock often.Am still on livolin twice a day and omega 3 folic acid. But I seems to get better since stated using this drugs. Can it take away the upper right pain;weakness of the hand and the back pain.point to note I stop taking lipitor for 4 weeks now but still having this symptoms. And all this is just a fatty liver and not XXXXXXX because of the constant itching and the fact that I stop using lipitor for a month but still have this symptoms? Thank you for ur attention. Waiting for ur response.

I have never drink alcohol and weight 85kg but now reduce to 75kg because the exercise n change in diet I guess. My height is 1.76m.

Brief Answer:
It takes a while for all to regress after stopping lipitor!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Please, it often takes a while for symptoms to regress after stopping the drugs. I will beg that you exercise some more patience for us to understand more. There is really little reason to suspect other possible causes to these symptoms than the liver disease and drug side effect at this time. If we find reasons to make new suspicions following new symptoms, then we shall do just that.

I wish you well.
