Severe allergy

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam,

Thank you for writing in Healthcaremagic.

I understand your concern. I saw the uploaded pictures of your son, and it seemed to me that is being exposed to something, to which your son is severely allergic. The rash subsided for few moment because the steroid cream suppressed the allergic reaction for a while but it did not kill the causative agent.

If I were your son's doctor, I would prescribe him an anti allergic pill like Cetrizine or fexofenadine and ask for a allergic profile test and a complete blood count. This test would specify those food, pet or dust he is allergic to.

Meanwhile;

Apply Aloe vera gel to rash
Avoid any pet or soft toys
You can also apply vitamin E oil to skin rash.
Any new addition to his lifestyle should be avoided until proved as an allergen
Avoid scratching (could cause bacterial infection)

Please see a doctor for these evaluations.Hope i answered your query.Feel free to ask more.
