Suggest Treatment For Itchy Rash On Shoulder

Question: I got this rash a out 2 weeks ago and it has been itching. What does it look like? It has turned black and still itches. it looked like raised bumps. I think by me itching it spread. i use Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropiomate Cream for the one on my foot. Do you think it my be a allergic reaction. i never had rash on my shoulder i was reading that a rash on shoulder is linked to hiv or kaposi Carsoma. What does it look like to you?

I am so sorry to hear about this rash and all the disturbing thoughts this has caused you. This rash is in no way suggestive of HIV or Kaposi. The nature is suggestive of an allergic reaction to a probably spilled product on this part of the body. scratching is responsible for the black discolorations. I will recommend that you refrain from doing so and continue only with bethamethasone cream to relief itches and arrest any ongoing further reactions. I will also encourage you to send an image to me after 72hours for review and more insights on what the next best steps are if there is need for treatment adjustments.
