Suggest Treatment For Irritation And Pain On Penis

default
Posted on Thu, 20 Nov 2014
Question: I am having irritation and pain in my penis. There are a few things. An itchy, scratchy feeling that is mostly around the area where my shaft meets my head, a general pain kind of in the tip of my penis (sort of inside of it), and a couple instances of painful erection and ejaculation.

No real visual changes as far as I can see. No discharge. Have been with one partner like 4 months ago for one night, with a condom. No other sexual activity. Was tested for chlamydia and ghonorreah and syphilis and all were negative.

Not sure what's going on but the symptoms have been getting worse.

Brief Answer:
slight infection. Needs management.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

With all labs of STDs clear, these itches and pain become innocuous and all it needs it symptomatic management. Vigorous coital activity does that. Jock itch is also one very common entity.

Urethritis may be there and inflammation of the urethra is causing problems and pains during erection or peeing.

Area between shaft and glans is predisposed to such irritations due to many penile glandular secretions like sebaceous and bulbourethral glands which themselves leads to bumps and irritations and itchings.

If you have a foreskin uncircumcised that increase the odds of it a bit further and needs evaluation of itself. Going for therapeutic prepuce removal or vertical incision would be wise.

Now the symptoms here are most likely a fungal ones and of balanitis. and all you need is some topical hydrocortisone creams and anti fungal creams. Take doxycycline orally prophylactically for seven days.

Keep good coital and groin hygiene and keep the genital clean and hair free. use loose airy garments and wash them frequently.

Stay protected and rest for a while in guise of no sex and touching.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

May the odds be ever in your favour.

Khan

If there were warts they would have been self evident. herpes a person gets from infected partner which yours is not. So no, you don't have to worry about these two.

Take care
