Question: Hello, I would need suggestion on good Gynecologist in XXXXXXX for below health problems I have:
1) Irregular Periods cycles
2) PCOD problems
3) Occasions of Missed periods with Negative Pregnancy test

Your irregular periods are due to PCOS. PCOS cannot be cured completely. This is part of your life. Keep your weight under check as you are likely to put on weight.

Don't worry about PCOS as it will not create any problem.

I know you might be having difficulties in conceiving due to PCOS status and irregular periods. Please get regular follicular growth scan to identify the ovulation so that they ate the best days to try for pregnancy.

Alternatively you can use ovulation prediction kit for identifying ovulation and try for pregnancy.

Thanks for your response.

I have taken appointment of Dr Tandulwadkars at her personnel clinic tomorrow.
Currently my period should have come on 27 Jun16 and today is 8th Jul they are not yet come, I have done urine pregnancy test 2 days before which is also Negative, not sure why this is happening? as it is a first time in my life of getting delay in periods even though I have PCOS since Aug 2013, what could be the reasons for the delay? and how could I get my monthly period?

Also I would like to know what are the prerequisites before my husband goes for semen analysis?

Your husband should have minimum 3 days and maximum 10 abstinence before giving semen analysis.

Irregular periods are common in women with PCOS. If you have put on more weight recently, you are likely to have irregular periods. Don't worry about it.

Thanks for answering my queries..

I have met Dr XXXXXXX Tandulwadkar this saturday, and during internal sonography, she realized I have rigid hymen and should be removed by operation..

Currently I am on medication from her for my periods to come and once they come and go she has advised to do this operation..

I am little bit worried on this operation.Can you help throw light on the process and whether current condition will get better after operation? Also average cost for this operation?

Hymen is normal and not rigid. Sometimes the tissue attachment is firm and does not break easily. this causes pain to you during sexual Intercourse.

Also heard internal sonography is better than external..

With current scenario I get lots of pain during internal sonography.. Is it an painful process of internal checking?
