Brief Answer:
Gastric discomfort, needs supportive care

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Pain in abdomen mostly in digestive tract randomly at age of 63 is likely a functional bowel decline. Gastric discomfort and irritable bowels can be suspicion. Modifying diet and lifestyle should be a start. Small frequent meals, less use of trigger meals like coffee, tea, spices, chocolates, processed canned foods, beer, alcohol, dairy products etc. Avoid smoking. More use of fibers and fluids intake should be encouraged. Over the counter use of antispasmodics and yogurt with peppermint can be tried (former is probiotic and later is natural antispasmodic).

If the symptoms persist, i would suggest some baseline work up to assess the possible cause behind it. I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan

Brief Answer:
Supportive care

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me

Work up will include baseline parameters for assessment of inflammation like ESR, CRP, blood complete counts, stool antigens for H plori, urea breath tests, 24 hours PH monitoring, defecography and bowel motility tests and if need be endoscopy to assess the bowels , but i am sure it wont come to these work ups and supporitve and diet lifestyle adjustments will take care of your symptoms.

I hope it helps.

Khan
