Posted on Thu, 25 Aug 2016
Question: Hello Doctor,
I am 24 years old and have hypothyroidism which is in control(last thyroid test was done 2 months ago, don't know if it is still in control).
We are trying to conceive from 3 months, but last month I got my period with a delay of 10 days. This month, I am having period but not like the regular one. Doctor suggested me to take regesterone 5mg for 5 days twice and then XXXXXXX tablet once in a day for 21 days. Will it regularise my periods and help me conceive? How long it will take to conceive after taking this prescription? Will it affect my weight, fertility etc., please help me
