Question: My son is 19 he said he cannot get a full erection its been like this now he said almost a year what can he do about this ?

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your 19 years old son has problem of Erectile Dysfunction since one year.

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on his problem.
1) Was he getting erection earlier?
2) Does he get morning erection?
3) Does he nave any major health issue ?

Erectile Dysfunction at this age has to be investigated thoroughly ..
Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical assessment and get following basic tests done under his guidance to establish the cause of his ED.
1) Haemogram
2) Blood sugar levels
3) Thyroid hormone assessment
4) Serum testosterone and prolactin.
5) Colour Doppler Ultrasound Scanning of Penis.

Further treatment will depend upon the results of these tests and final diagnosis.

He said that he had gotten erections prior to all this happening.And yes he does get an erection in the AM but it its not a full one tends to go soft quickly

Thanks for feed back .

His ED problem seems to be psychogenic in origin . Following measure will help him to boost up his confidence and getting good erection.

1) Practice regular exercise for 45 minutes followed by meditation for 1/2 an hour in the morning.
2) Take high protein diet rich in vegetables and fruits and Vitamin A,C,D,E.and Zinc
3)Take anti oxidants like Almonds 5-6 everyday..
4) Avoid alcohol and smoking.

He can certainly try Sildenafil (Viagra). only when he plans to have sex with his female partner.
