Suggest Treatment For Cut On Penis Head
Question: I have the head of my penis cut by tooth, its like a red line, can I use ratiopharm ratio triacomb cream on it, thanks

The said ointment contains combination of anti-bacterial,anti-fungal,along with steroids.Steroids and topical anti fungals are better avoided on abraded skin.
The treatment depends on the depth of wound.If it is only a superficial abrasion,just wash well with soap and water,and apply antibacterial creams like povidone-iodine or mupirocin twice daily for 5-7 days.
If it is somewhat deep,there is high chance of spreading infection,and need to be treated with oral antibiotics and anti inflammatory agents.For this,your doctor will guide you.
Also,you should get a tetanus shot if you had not one recently.

Thanks for the information, to inquire further, its not a deep cut, I can see an no opening, only a darker red like color but no blood . Would polysporin anti bacterial be the same as providone iodine, thanks

If there is only a discoloration and no visible cut/edema/pain,this need not be worried.You can apply polysporin ointment(though it is not same as povidone iodine,this also will work).Watch for edema/pain,and report to your doctor if this happens.Otherwise,just apply the ointment for 5-7 days.
Anyhow,if there was abrasion/oozing of blood initially,it is better to get tetanus shot,as I already told.
