Brief Answer:
seems to be sinusitis with eustachian tube dysfunction.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having facial pain with clogged ears.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be acute sinusitis with Eustachian tube dysfunction.

Severe form of cold or throat infection can cause sinuses infection, where sinus openings cloggs with secretions causing facial pain, heaviness in frontal region and Eustachian tube dysfunction.

Eustachian tube (tube connecting the middle ear and nose, help in ventilating the middle ear) dysfunction causes ear blockage and ear pain.

I suggest the following measures, to overcome your clogging.

1. Take anti allergic medications like tab.citrizine 10mg one tab at bed time.

2. Nasal decongestant drops, xylometazoline 3drops/3times (over the counter).

3. Steam inhalation.

4. chew chewing gum.

5. Do valsalva exercises (watch youtube video).

6. Avoid consuming freezer products (curd/ice creams).

In case of persistence, you need to see an ent surgeon to rule out other causes.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
