Suggest Treatment For Calcium Deficiency And Food Poisioning In A Child

Question: My daughter aged 11 years old found omitting due to food poison. While glucose injecting very slowly by using trip observed, she become fatigue and pale also noticed nerve on injecting hand become vicious staunch with painful status due to calcium deficiency. Can you explain more details about it. What are the treatment is required further to solve this case.

Weakness is common following frequent vomiting due to dehydration,electrolyte imbalance and hypoglycemia.
Calcium deficiency can cause spasm of hand called tetanus.
The main aim of management here is glucose containg fluid with calcium supplementaion to avoid dehydration,electrolyte imbalance and calcium deficiency.
Antibiotic is also needed for food poisoning.Most of the child respond to this treatment within 3-4 days.Fluid drip can gradually tapered off and stopped as the general condition improves and child starts taking orally.
