Suggest Treatment For Bumps On Tip Of Penis

Question: Have very very small bumps on penis head. Dermatologist and PC Dr told me they thought it was just dermatitis or irritation but I wanted another opinion to rule out hpv. If I email a picture can you take a look?

The bumps are so small you can only really see them when I zoom in with the camera from my phone. Last time I had sex was 28 weeks ago wearing a condom

My only sexual encounter in last 2 years was protected. You can only see the bumps when I angle my penis head to a certain light and zoom in with camera. I will try to upload more pictures. As I mentioned a dermatologist and primary care dr told me there was nothin to worry about but I am a big time worrier and can't help it

I uploaded 2 more photos. All I have is a camera phone sorry. The bump gets more noticeable if I have an erection or squeeze my penis head. I run 4 miles every morning. I'm hoping these super small bumps are just from friction or something. Thanks

One last follow up. The dermatologist I saw said it was just some eczema. Ok. I will wait for your opinion. Thanks

These are not warts. I suggest a possibility of Lichen Nitidus/ lichen planus.
It is a type of eczema and would respond to topical mid potent steroids like mometasone furoate, to be applied, twice daily.

Thanks. So I can get warts off of my mind? If untreated will it go away on its own? I was prescribed desonide. Will that clear it up. Thanks again. I am so relieved!

I suggest you to use a topical steroid for 2 weeks.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

These are not warts for sure. These are lesions of lichen nitidus/ lichen planus. Shiny, skin colored Or slightly red/ violaceous, slightly raised lesions.
I suggest you to apply a topical steroid.
Without treatment they may stay unchanged for longer time, may increase or decrease.
Desonide is a mild steroid whereas I asked you to use mometasone furoate, which is a more potent steroid than desonide.
You may use either of these, twice daily, for 2 weeks. Certainly these lesions would respond to topical steroids.
